The PSW facilitated over 3,350 campers and cabin leaders in 2016.
Regardless of the season in which the camp program takes place, camp is a catalytic environment for true-life transformation.
It provides a setting where students disengage with the distractions of everyday life and engage with God in His creation.
The activities are intentionally designed to foster community and encourage team building.
Students experience powerful worship and faith-filled teachings that draw them into a deeper relationship with Jesus.
Our camp programs compliment local church ministries by super-charging kid’s church and bolstering youth groups.
In 1946 Rev. Harold Chalfant campaigned and raised funds to purchase land for the Foursquare Church to establish Camp Cedar Crest. His vision was for a place where children and youth could escape the frenzied pace of city life and discover God in His creation. Today that vision continues, every year Cedar Crest hosts approxi-mately 20,000 campers and leaders through weekly and weekend programs, science camps and retreats.
